July Goals

I pretty much accomplished everything in June, with the exception of going to the gym 4 days a week and trying 2 new recipes. It was fiscal year end at work and life was crazy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

July Goals (Please excuse the ghetto list in blue highlighter. I had to work with the current resources at my disposal.)

Cardio - My goal is three times a week. I've pretty much stunk at this lately. I need to just stick to the #1 rule of cardio and I should be fine: Don't ever look at the clock to see how much time you have left. It only leads to tears.

Somewhere New - Somewhere. Anywhere. Because I'm all about adventure. Sort of.

Magazine Subscriptions - Thanks to friend's kids selling magazine subscriptions for school (I'm not even touching the fact that I'm old enough to have friend's with kids old enough to sell things in school), I have SO many of them. I need to get it down to the three or so I actually read each month.

Spotify Playlists - They are out.of.control. I started out having them all in cute little playlists with catchy titles. Now? I basically just throw a song wherever and then get mad when I can't find it again. It's time to get it under control. It's hard to have a dance party when all the good jams are scattered about all willy nilly.

Bahamas - I called my mom to tell her about Andy Griffith last week. By the time we were off the phone a trip to the Bahamas had been planned. I chose the location and I have a pretty good reason for this particular one. I've been a couple of times so I won't feel like I've missed anything by drinking 20 out of 24 hours in order to tolerate my mother for 5 days. Bottoms up!

Gameday Belles Site - More to come on this soon

What are your goals for the month?

  1. So jealous for your tropical vacation plans. Bahamas are high on my list of places to visit. Can't wait for Gameday Belles! I've missed football season so much!

  2. I like your vacation planning philosophy!

Also, your handwriting still looks pretty even in blue highlighter. :)

  3. Almost entirely unrelated to the actual content of your post... my pretty colorful pens ran out last week so I used my green highlighter as a pen. #resourceful

  4. Make sure to find room in your suitcase for me when you leave for the Bahamas. I promise to be quiet so no one knows I'm in there..

  5. I am with you on cardio and barely made it last week.
I am a little jealous of the Bahamas. I want a trip but that won't happen until I finish school in about 2 years.
