Monday Ramblings

It's Monday, y'all. Best day of the week. Yes, I know. I'm one of those crazy people who doesn't actually hate Mondays. That's not to say I wouldn't like to see more weekend; however, Mondays are like a fresh new start. A clean slate. Another chance to get your ish together and get it right. And who doesn't love that?

I did it. I've been lusting over the Clarisonic Mia forever. This morning Sephora (aka The Mothership) lured me in and I couldn't resist any more. I hear it's life changing. Clarisonic Gals: What cleanser do you use? I'm hoping I can continue using my beloved Origins with it. Please say yes.

Hell Week is over. Anyone who works in a position that deals directly with year end operations knows closing fiscal year end is nothing short of complete chaos. Add to that a German visit from the CEO. Stressful enough? Nope. A mere 12 hours prior to The German's arrival, I was notified of a payroll discrepancy. A company-wide payroll error that has gone on for the ENTIRE FISCAL YEAR. Night. Mare.

I have no shame. I may or may not have (but definitely just did) create a Jesse McCartney playlist on Spotify this morning, and am currently having a dance party in my chair to Body Language. Judge away.

What do you have to ramble about today?

  1. WELCOME TO TEAM MIA!!!! Use whatever cleanser you wish - I bought a fancy DDF one from The Mothership but have used it with my Neutrogena drug store stuff, too. The brush itself is the magic - stick with the chemical composition of the wash you already like. But that's just an opinion from a girl whose skin freaks out at the slightest change in programming #oyvey

  2. Welcome to the club, doll! I've had mine for more than a year and couldn't live without it. I'm seriously considering investing in either a new one or the travel version for business trips. And I'm pretty sure you can use whatever cleanser you want. All of my friends use a wide variety of cleaners with theirs. Although I wouldn't use it with an exfoliant, for obvious reasons. I use The Cure Cleanser by Natura Bisse though - and I recommend it to everyone. It's amazing!

  3. Very appropriately written and put forward. this is a great blog post. Gives Fodder for brain as well as compells you to ponder. Happy That I discovered this site.

  4. I have been lusting over one too. And I believe I will get one this weekend. The cleanser I have has an exfoliant in it so I will have to find something else.

  5. YESSSSS. Welcome to the dark side...we have clear skin!
