Everyone Has An Opinion...and I Need Yours

I am having some very serious issues and I need your help.

Planner / Agenda - I've lost my planner, which no doubt contributes to the sense of disarray and chaos I have been having the past week. I live out of my planner. Without it, I'm lost. And so I'm in desperate need of a new one. I prefer something with months and weeks so I can have a good overview of the month, as well as a two-page a week format with room for appointments, etc. each day. What do you use that works well for you?

Responding to Comments - I want to respond to every single comment via email, but with my schedule, it's so hard. I feel like it would be much more doable if I were able to respond to comments directly on the blog. I see lots of you lovely ladies do this. How do I make it happen?

Summer Moisturizer - I am in need of a new summer moisturizer. I typically use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel  year round, but I've decided that it's time to mix it up. I will still use that in the winter, but I want a lighter weight moisturizer for the summer months. I am looking for a combination / oily skin formula. Hit me with your tried and true favorites, ladies.

  1. i agree it is hard! and if you respond on your blog, they dont get a notification, so typically no one will ever see if you hit "reply" under the comment. someone should fix that so it goes directly to your email rather than having to actually go into email to respond!

  2. I love my current moisturizer! I use Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Control Moisturizer. It has an spf of 30, and feels amazing. It's lightweight, and does a great job of controlling my oil. And you can get it at CVS!

  3. 1. Planner - I use Blue Sky and have for YEARS. They have the month and week view and multiple different sizes.
The planner page on their site:
    My love post:

    2. Comments - Classic Annie has a tutorial on her blog that I just used to set mine up :)

    3. Moisturizer - Ummm... I use the exact same lotion. Except I use the lotion in winter and just switched to gel for summer. It's still feeling a tad slimy though so I'm open to this answer as well :) I have used Neutrogena in the past because theirs has SPF in it and they have some really lightweight formulas.

  4. 1-Planner - I have the Erin Condren planner. Love it. It's bulky, but I like how there is a lot of room to write. I've gotten used to the bulk!

2-I use Disqus for commenting. Readers have to select to get a notification and I'm not sure if they do. I don't get a lot of comments anyway, so it's not a big deal lol. Plus, I'm not on blogger format.

3-I use Neutrogena misturizer. It works great for me.

  5. The only thing here that I have an opinion on is the planner. I told myself I wasn't going to fall into all the hype about Erin Condren planners, but then I got suckered in with one of those group deals and bought a $50 voucher for $25. So I bought an Erin Condren planner. Now, I don't remember life without it. It is by far the best money I have ever spent.

  6. I have oily skin too and I've been using Origins Zero Oil moisturizer. It's pretty good and really light.

  7. I prefer to buy yearly agendas verses refillable ones, because I LOVE my planner but getting a new one each year is like Christmas come early (most of mine run through July). My go-to planners are Lilly (the months/ days are perfectly displayed plus bright colors help with bad days) or Kate Spade (in college I had a pocket size and it was AMAZING).

As for moisturizer, I love the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer-- it is the only thing I wear in the summer months!

  8. 1. The planner I use shows a month at a time only but have you checked out Lilly P.?

    3. I really like this moisturizer from Murad, pomegranate w/ SPF 15. It has a light non greasy feel that absorbs in to my skin really well. Even though the tube is only 2oz a little goes a long way and it -lasts- a long time.
If you have a Sephora near you they are great about free samples so you can try a bunch or if you order it from the Murad website and their products have a money back guarantee.

  9. I really love my Lilly Pulitzer agenda, and not just because it is Lilly Pulitzer! I strayed from it one year and regretted it the entire time!

I just started using the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and have been impressed by the feel & coverage.

  10. I love my Life Planner from Erin Condren. Her new design comes out in mid-June.

  11. Oh that is scary the idea of losing your planner. I hope you find one to finish our the year. I know how much you love your Erin one.
