It's that time again...and only 7 days late. But since this is the month I am *finally* getting my ish together for good, it'll be the last time it's late. (You all believe that, right?)
Signature Red / Pink Lip - I have been on the hunt for the PERFECT red and pink lip for what seems like ages. I have various reds and pinks that I wear, but none that I love enough to keep around as a regular. This month, that changes. I will not only find the perfect red and pink lip, I will rock them.
Become a Morning Person - Is this possible? Can you just decide that you're a morning person? This is the month we'll find out. If it can be done, I'm determined to make it happen. While getting up 30 minutes earlier was an overall success in January, I still hit snooze more times than I should have. And let's just say I wasn't exactly Miss Susie Sunshine. I'll leave it at that.
Keep Up With Blog Emails - I am the world's worst at letting emails from the blog sit in my inbox forever before replying. No more. My goal is to reply within 2 days.
Keep in Touch - Whether family or friends, I have been absolutely TERRIBLE with this lately. I know, I know. I'm hanging my head in shame. I'm going to do better at keeping it touch - via email, phone calls, handwritten notes and cards. There's no excuse to be as much of a slacker as I've been.
Have Car Detailed - Yes, this is a goal. You'd think it would as simple as stopping in somewhere and having it done, right? Wrong. I've been telling myself I'm going to do this for months now, but I never have the time. So this month, I'm making the time. When my car is happy and clean and organized, my world seems to flow much more smoothly.
Blog - Yeah, yeah. I know. I said this last month and failed miserably. But last month is over. February is the month it's going to happen.
Junior League Bargain Carousel Donations - I knew about this in August, yet I have put it off until almost the last possible minute. We are required to come up with $100 worth of donations...not money, but actual stuff. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong. This is worse than thrift store pricing. We get 25 cents for each item of clothing...but can only donate 10 items of clothing. Shoes are not allowed. Even large items like kitchen appliances (think refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.) is only worth $8-$10. I need to round up everything I can and get it dropped off at the end of the month or the ladies of the JLB are not going to be very happy with me.
Move - I'm moving this month. When? Who knows. I'm just waiting on the call that all of the updates and renovations in my new place are complete and then it's go time. I'm taking the next few weeks to get things packed and organized so I can move in a nice, neat and orderly fashion. I'm excited about my new place and plan on doing a complete overhaul on all of my stuff. I want all new things. The budget isn't a fan of this idea, but I sure am.
What are your goals this month?
